Hiyers Guys,

Well after a long and anxious wait me goodies arrived at last this evening. I bought a few pieces thinking that a couple would probably go back, but I like 'em all and I'm one of the lucky ones who fits a size N. I'm so sorry I can't do photies as they're so much better than Gems own piccies, so links is the best I can do:-

http://www.gemstv.co.uk/Shop/productDataSheet.jsp?productid=UZY6590&menuselection=0 £107.10
http://www.gemstv.co.uk/shop-detail.jsp?product=UUG4216&category=preweb&colourScheme=2 £132.30
http://www.gemstv.co.uk/shop-detail.jsp?product=ULL2875&category=preweb&colourScheme=2 £39.60
http://www.gemstv.co.uk/shop-detail.jsp?product=ULJ7189&category=preweb&colourScheme=2 £18.00
http://www.gemstv.co.uk/shop-detail.jsp?product=UKE9070&category=preweb&colourScheme=2 £27.00
http://www.gemstv.co.uk/shop-detail.jsp?product=UPX5484&category=preweb&colourScheme=2 £25.20
http://www.gemstv.co.uk/shop-detail.jsp?product=UNU1817&category=preweb&colourScheme=2 £35.10

A 20" silver curb chain for £2.46 and free p&p.

The last four I bought from web games and didn't expect to like them all. Ah well, beans on toast for the next six months. If you look at the piccies and then imagine them really bright and twinkly, and good size in all cases. The blue topaz is a lovely fun ring, being very long and nicely cut. You already know about my pearlie and it did not disappoint, just wish I could show you its fantastic profile.

MEESHOO - if you wouldn't mind casting an expert eye over the ruby, I'd love to hear your opinion. Difficult I know, but I can tell you that the rubies are a beautiful red with pink lights and well colour matched, and the diamonds though tiny are quite clearly diamonds as opposed to blobs of rhodium plating. Do you think it constitutes reasonable value? I'm happy with so-so but am so wary of Gems these days.

Love
Argey xxx

Great buys Argey - you can spot a good deal a mile off!!!

If you don't mind, I can't comment on the Ruby only because GemsTV photos are so photoshopped that they bear no resemblance to real life and to give you an opinion on an artificial photo would be wrong of me.

Looking at the price however etc etc., you've got a bargain but must factor in that these are likely to be heat treated and fractured filled (with lead or glass) rubies so the quality won't be great. If they look pretty however, then for the price it's a bargain. If you look at it realistically, even costume jewellery can cost more! Hope that helps.

Thanks so much for your opinion Meesh, I realise how difficult it is. I did think there would be something about the rubies as they are in all honesty a bit too good to be true. As long as the price is fair then I'm happy.

Thanks again.

Argey xx

What a lovely selection.:)

I especially like the Andesine & White Topaz ring, absolutely stunning. The Sky Blue Topaz ring, and the Maricota Ambylygonite ring, love the colour of the Amblygonite.

Well Argey you have been very busy, love your Tahitan pearl ring glad you are really pleased with it and finally got one you are happy with also really like the design of your ruby ring, enjoy wearing your new jewellery

WOw like your version that defines Trouble! lol ....enjoy them all they are lovely , im getting tempted towards the pearl, might have to have a gander... well done xx

:Hiya: Argey. Well done you! What lovely pieces and some great bargains too! I particularly like the Tahitian Pearl and the Amblygonite. Enjoy wearing them.

ps Beans and toast are good for you just don't waft the sheets as you turn over during the night!! :Laughing1:

What a lovely selection, Argey. The outstanding bargain must be the chrysoberyl and diamond ring for £18.00. They all have such good gold weights for the money, too. If you're going live off beans for the next six months, open some windows and enjoy your well deserved haul

Great haulage Argey.....

I hope you had a really enjoyable time opening your parcel of stunning goodies this evening Argey.
Flaming Nora you got some good deals there, particularly in your web games purchases. The Malachite ring stands out for me,
I can't believe the gold weight.......I bet it looks superb on.

Delighted that the TP ring has turned out fine, we all liked it in your preview earlier. And the ruby I think I saw shown on tele
and I think it might have been Matt, as he said baguette rubies are very very unusual, it did look very impressive.

I trust the prices you have given include the discount code you posted earlier, many thanks for that btw,
I made use of it on my little latest order. But apparently it is just for a one-off use only in April!

So well done you and perhaps now you might want us to send the 'ole wagon' down your way................
just in case you want to have a little ride on it! mysmilie_1436

Yes Sacha - I did use my discount thank goodness. I'm very bad at remembering to use them. Gems are just plain naughty since their current brochure states quite clearly "10% off any order placed during the month of April". There are no exclusions shown and use of the word "any" implies that it can be used as often as you like so long as its in April.

As for Huggles and Klos this one's just for you

What a haul! Some great deals there Argey, but you need to repeat after me: I've been a very naughty girl; I've been a very naughty girl; I've been a very...............

Great haul, Argey - they're all lovely and it's hard to pick a favourite but I think it has to be the TP or the Amblygonite. Thanks from me too for the discount code. I almost went as mad as you, but my basket stayed open so long that I managed to calm down and take some things out, so a much smaller order is on it's way :)

Well done Argey!
I have to say my favourite is the andesine, just gorgeous, and I know what a beautiful stone it is. Bargain.
I also love the amblygonite, if it was white gold I'd be sooo tempted!
So glad the TP lived up to expectations after all the agonising!
Enjoy your goodies.

If thats being in trouble well done you lol
Love the pearl ring thats my favouite but i also have to say the ruby ring is a stunner to enjoy all your rings they all look very nice.

All lovely Argey - I especially love the SBT silver ring, so if you ever get bored with that one I can offer it a good home! lol
