In my own world. It's very nice
Warning - Rant Alert!

:help: I hate earring packaging where you can't see the earrings without breaking the seal :help: & the earrings weren't even facing the same way, there was so much packaging inside the sealed bag that there was no chance of moving them to face in the same direction

I'm so frustrated its taking all my energy to not type in capitals

what I've got though is faulty (again) so at least I can send them back, but am annoyed at another trip to the post office & forking out for postage again

I was sooo looking forward to the earrings too

Thank you for listening
& am I alone with this?? or does other earring packaging prove difficult???

I agree that the packaging makes it hard to see what you are getting, Pepsi, especialy if bubble-wrap is involved! Any time I've returned a faulty item rocks have refunded my postage to them- just make sure you tell them the item is faulty on the returns slip and there shouldn't be a problem.

Calvin is right, Pepsi. If you have to return a faulty item, Rocks will refund your postage costs. Why not give Katherine a quick phone call to let her know. She'll sort it for you, she's so lovely and very efficient.

thanks peeps
I know that I'll get my refund but all this hassle is putting me off bothering in the first place. I seem to be really good at spotting some faults in gemstones now, and know that if I could have picked them myself I wouldn't have - I would have rejected them. All this makes the thought of buying from the high street sooo much easier & worth the additional cost (I can't watch the live stream & get the best bargains anyway)
'Cor listen to me I'm soooooo grumpy!!!!

Completely agree. It's not an issue with every pair, but I've returned several because I couldn't see what they were like through the packaging.
One of my particular bugbears is long earrings all tangled up inside the bags, you really can't tell how long they are or what they're going to look like.
I've lost a few to that one - last time, it was pearls on long chains, and they were in knots. Unfortunately, I don't know what the answer is.

Seemples! Cross-tie the label over the hook/posts (both together). This way you could take them out of the packaging but not be able to put them on.

xx

Argey i have heard the presenters say the seal must be in tact or they wont have them back i dont buy earrings personally so i can only imagine how frustrating it must be
I have returned numerous items for being faulty but never had my postage refunded maybe its because i often put them with something else I'm sending back usually because its not what i thought it was going to be ie size colour length etc I dont know why they cant put earrings in bags big enough so you can manouvre them around and have really clear plastic surely its not rocket science to know you need to be able to see what you got in the bag !

I think you have a great idea there. And if they must put them in bags then they need to be big enough to see. Also sometimes (not always) items are put in boxes that are too small and they get tangled up and squished.

Also the seemples made me laugh lol

Hi all

sorry about this one, totally slipped through the net!
I love Argey's idea, will have it implemented as soon as possible.

oh gawd....she'll be impossible to live with now :D

Well I don't know why nobody asked me in the first place. Let's face it - I do have the answer to everything and my consultant fees are very reasonable. I would offer my services to Tiffany & Co but since I expect they'd need me in the States, they'd have to make all sorts of special arrangements for me to travel and being the modest person I am, would hate having all that special treatment. Then there's the problem of keeping the paparazzi away - no definitely too much hassle.

I'd like to thank my mother for giving birth to me, my daughter for acting as my personal assistant, my grandchildren and great grandchildren for keeping me entertained. I'm coming over all emotional now, but must continue for the sake of my public. I'd like to thank Shopping Telly for having the foresight to realise that one day they would be graced with the presence of one such as I ........................................................................

I'm being really thick here but I just can't visualise Argey's idea, LOL.

My Rocks stuff from last year still all have the tags on them.

Hi Jan,

Not easy to explain without a diagram but I'll have a go.

Using hooks as an example. Take the tag/label and wrap over the top of both hooks and tie together, then cross-tie in between the two hooks and then seal the two ends of tag as usual. Very similar to tying an ordinary knot. This way earrings can be removed from packaging and handled, but not actually worn without breaking the tag.

Love
Argey xx

I hate to be a [stick in the mud] as i know a lot of you love your rockstv bling , i was also hooked for a year -but thankfully i came to my senses after buying so many items and realizing the quality was not always there, after a few deliverys where i thought items were just ok, i kinnda thought id prefer to spend a bit more and get items that were quality [sorry if ive peed you all off] but were all intitled to our own opinion:40:

Hello Perdita,

That's what I'm like, will keep something pristine and new for months, even years and then when I finally do start wearing it I wear it constantly.

Still can't visualise it, can only think hooks could be slipped out of the tag/label. Will have to wait to see if it's implemented and then buy some earrings.

Now Argey, say after me: I'm a very clever girl; I'm a very clever girl; I'm a very clever ..........
