I just thought, by way of a reminder that there are still the occasional treats to be had on Gems, that I'd show you the beastie in my basket http://www.gemstv.co.uk/Shop/productDataSheet.jsp?productid=UFD4676&menuselection=0 at the princely sum of £49, and I adore malachite. It's pendant is sitting here at home just waiting for daddy to come home.

I'm trying to be on a jewellery diet, but I just can't resist a big boy when he's just dropped into me lap. <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D36%252F36%255F27%255F1%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_27_1.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D36%252F36_27_1%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a>

I'm gonna have to stop looking, I ain't never gonna git me bike at this rate! However, I'll be so thin I might slip through the floorboards, chair 'n all. <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D15%252F15%255F8%255F6%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_8_6.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D15%252F15_8_6%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a>

Cor blimey guv - its a stonker! Well done Arhey - brilliant bargain and lovely ring too = what more can you ask. Enjoy xx

Wow Argey what a whopper you've got!! I'm banned from buying just now because of the builders but if you find any more bargains - around £2.50 then give me a shout!

Well done you hope you get lots of pleasure from it!

Have you received it yet Argey? I also adore Malachite - hope that the patterns on it are lovely. I lived in West Africa for three years and have a collection of eggs, carvings, boxes and even a chess board. The jewellery made there was not good quality though, so a bargain ring like that would go down a treat with me, good detective work!

Hi Jacqualina,

There's another one on the web at the moment, same price, if you're interested. I don't have mine yet as I've only just checked out this morning, but it should be along this week. I too am wondering about the markings, there is a risk of it being one of those pale creamy efforts with more misty swirl than clear patterning so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I am hoping though that they wouldn't put an iffy cab on so much gold.

Argey xx
