After reading recent posts here, many members don't longer buy from QVC for different reasons (too expensive, slow shipping, other internet sites with better service or on moral grounds cfr D Basso items still sold on QVC)

What items can't we find anywhere else, and we still turn to QVC to buy them?

I still buy Clientele skincare, as I love the range and the kits are great value, but I most probably buy 2-3 items a year
Smashbox TSV are still great value and worth purchasing
What I like about QVC is that you can try skincare and use the MBG if you need it, this I cannot fault and can be handy

So, dear members, which QVC products can you not be without?:D

I buy jewellery at last click prices because I think the value is good and you can pick bargains that make great pressies. I also think some skincare and cosmetics TSVs are very good value, so I might consider those if I think I'm going to use all or most of the items in them. QVC remains a good place to buy Laura Geller and Alpha H products, even though if I need something, I have a peek on ebay first. Also, beauty last clicks are excellent value: that's how I got into Alpha H. So, for me, value for money is the rationale behind any decision on whether to buy from QVC or not...

I buy BE (only selected kits), some Liz Earle (if the kit is good value, otherwise I prefer to get it from LE direct), and Smashbox. To be hoenst though, unless it's a Smashbox TSV, I'm more inclined to buy it from JBD as the service is great, and you get your item MUCH quicker!! I will not be buying Laura Geller again until the problem with my compact is sorted (which will be never if the unhelpful CS person is anything to go by!).

I've never bought anything else.

TBH I usually see the items I like on qvc then go buy the same or similar cheaper elsewhere. Sometimes buy skincare on QVC if its a good enough deal.

Much more than I should!!

I buy Liz Earle TSVs, which are always good value

Honora pearls

Gem-set jewellery as H Samuels just don't do it and I couldn't possibly afford the high-end shops

Northern Nights

Laura Geller

Too much! Way too much!!

Smashbox TSVs usually.
Elemis TSVs depending on what is in it. Will say the next one is a deff.

I do more wandering on ebay these days for the bits I want rather than buy kits with bits I don't.

Smashbox individual from justbeautydirect as Jayne gets the new collections from America and one shipping charge too.

I buy very little now mainly the only thing that tempts me is a damn good beauty TSV but they are few and far between now.

I always buy Smashbox TSV's because they are great value and my mum loves the make up too so I can share it with her. I used to buy the Christmas MB TSV but clearly that is now at an end :(

TBH I find I can source most things I need from other internet sites and eBay at a fraction of the price.

My biggest objection over and above anything else is the P&P, it is absolutely extortionate especially when other much smaller internet sites can send you the same thing for half the price. By the time I factor in P&P which is now usually around the £5 mark, I find bargains aren't bargains any more.

It's a straight rip off

Please don't laugh, but my favourite QVC product is Richard Jackson's Root Booster. The stuff is absolutely brilliant! :shy: (Try sprinkling it around slow-growing kids ;-)

I also buy Ojon. And I'll always thank QVC for introducing me to Laura Geller and Elemis.:cheerleader:

I buy Northern Nights, Honora pearls, Clientele, shoes, plants and Kipling

My very first item that I bought from QVC was a pan set way back in 1994 and needless to say that they were carp as it was before cooks essentials started.

Have bought Liz Earle and Gatineau in the beauty department and have some lock and lock too. Have never bought any jewellery although saying that I did buy a couple of Kahuna watches when they used to be on. Have also got NN bedding too.

I don't buy much from QVC now though, the pennies don't allow for it plus I can find the items cheaper elsewhere to save the pennies.

I've bought loads Models Prefer Tsv last June my first ever purchase, 3 sets of Yankee Candles, 3 Liz Earle sets, Butler & Wilson brooch and am still awaiting a Skagen watch which was a Tsv! Most purchases have been bought as gifts, i have to pay using postal orders as they wouldnt take my particular debit card:mad: Oh and i also bought Molton Browns Christmas Tsv,wasnt very impressed and wouldnt buy from them again!

I meant to add Molton Brown I buy as well, well I did used to buy them from QVC. I went passed the MB shop in Cheshire Oaks today and hey there was actually 2 people in there who weren't employed by MB couldn't believe it.

I buy Elemis and Smashbox tsvs mostly - every now and then I'll buy a different beauty tsv if it's good value and a good brand.
Sometimes buy a skincare product if it's on easypay.
Like others, though, I find that I can generally source things cheaper elsewhere and get free p&p or one much lower than that charged by QVC. I agree with Fraggle that their p&p is far too expensive, especially since it takes at least 2 weeks for any of my orders to reach me here in the remote corner of the British Isles that is Manchester.

Also meant to say that I order Smashbox and BE from Jayne's site now and am more than happy with the pricing, p&p and great service. QVC could learn a lot from Just Beauty Direct.

My very first purchase was some lovely little Butler and Wilson black cat earrings.
