Another shouting woman

While looking for relief from Lucy (Gems TV) the other day I looked at Rocks TV and it was another shouting woman, I am not sure if it was because it was the internet but was a voice that I could not put up with for more than 5 minutes.

Do Jewellery channels look for the Town Crier type of woman?

She's no shrinking violet, our Carol, but she has a tremendous sense of fun and I really like her. It must be rather difficult to sit for 6 hours and sell pieces you've sold dozens of times before to folk who aren't paying attention and chatting about health problems etc. I bet Carol is the life and soul of the party and I hope she doesn't change.

Would not be good if we were all the same.

I find carol entertaining, no way as bad as some of the presenters from a certain jewellery channel!

carol is like human marmite, i.e i think you love or hate her (not actually hate though!) ,its just personal taste. I am not saying she is a bad presenter, just that i personally can't watch her, but i appreciate that some find her style entertaining

I can remember when carol first started on rocks everybody moaned about her presenting style but i think she grows on you i found in the early days she was hard to watch for more than a few minuits but i actually really like her now and watch her and think she is a born entertainer and it makes a lot of differance when some of us like her have seen some of the stuff so many times it passes the time when your waiting to see something new come on

I like Carol - although I admit to turning the sound off occasionally to save my poor ears!!

I think Carol is hysterical but I also have to turn her down when she gets over excited! I prefer Barry and Jamie but mainly because Carol's prices are consistently higher for the same items.....

I wasn't that keen on Carol at first but she really does grow on you! Some of the faces she pulls are just...well Carol, I suppose. I really wish that she would have her hair down more - it makes her really attractive.

:Carol is a zany entertaining, wonderful person. A fantastic sense of humour, fun to watch, honest decent. How boring it would be if there was no input of madness and fun.
