Another suggestion would be a Cinnamon Buns TSV: SG+bodysouffle+scrub+lippie..... I would definitely buy more than one.

I agree with there being less choice of bath and body now that MB are going, I was never a huge fan of MB but at least it meant that there was more choice and I remember texting in one Xmas TSV as the MB sorted out a present for my MIL.....somehow I can't see her getting into AG body lotion which I love but talks about sagging body parts on the bottle!

Hi SCW
I buy my philosophy stuff always from www.skinstore.com. They are in the US, but they have a large choice and fast shipping. International shipping is £7, no matter how much you buy and how heavy your order is. I usually save around 40% on UK prices. When you register as a new customer, you get a code for 10% off and a few times a year, they offer 20% reductions, this is when I usually buy. They always include samples, and am very pleased with the service. And I have never been stung by customes, the chance to pay import duties on skincare items is very low anyway
HTH, Tia

Just a thought, and I have none of Sazza's or Supercoolwillow's or anyone else's amazing detective skill, but I have noticed that philosophy do tend to give a little teaser of something new which then comes up in the TSV late eg inner grace in a try me size before the TSV last autumn. Now they have been promoting their try me as "5 piece best sellers" including purity, great mystery and pure grace body butter, maybe the TSV will be these but in bigger sizes.....................or maybe I am just barking

I totally agree with Top Cat - I'll be getting the TSV no matter what is in it. I just love Philosophy - I love the bath and shower items and I was in John Lewis' last Saturday and discovered that Philosophy have brought out quite a few more - they haven't been on our QVC yet but I think the US have some of them. They are much bigger sizes - 709ml and £17. Got Let Go Let Love which is a really fresh lime and Bubbly which smells like champagne! There were others listed but JL had already sold out of them - going back this week! Hopefully Lee will do us proud and get them on QVC!:)

Yes - it's the OTO that I am using now - the Purity is brilliant, and HIAJ, although it has a funny smell, has really made a difference to my skin, it is a lot smoother and my pores do look smaller.

I use both, but not on the same day. I use TGM on days when I feel my skin needs help, say if it's dull or feeling a bit dried out. I prefer to use the microdelivery wash on mornings when my skin feels oilier, i just prefer the fresher feeling. If i had to choose between the two though, TGM is my fave.

Might be an Auto Delivery Option where they send the same kit but change the shower gel. Which ties in with an item I found on Q Active which has the same name as the TSV but with Cinnamon Buns in the title too. Will need to check what the item number was though.

Our new philosophy's simple. Multi-task! We know you live in the fast lane so everything in philosophy's 6-Piece Essentials Collection - the Today's Special Value on Saturday 23rd August - is a multi-tasking genius.

Whisk away dirt and debris with the miraculous microdelivery exfoliating wash, which is both a cleanser and an exfoliator. This award-winning treatment replenishes and gently resurfaces as it cleans.

Or jump into a field of flowers every morning! This rich concoction is a shampoo, bubble bath and shower gel all in one. What could be simpler?

There's even a range of shower gels which change with the season, from cinnamon buns on your first delivery to mimosa on the second and melon daiquiri on the third delivery. Sign up for Auto-Delivery and they'll arrive on your doorstep every 90 days.

Multi-tasking is a wonderful philosophy so seize it on Saturday 23rd August at 12am, 1am, 4am, 7am, 8am, 10am, 1pm, 5pm, 8pm and 11pm.

EDIT: Oops see this has already been posted. :o

I am very tempted by the TSV.
But I already have a HIAJ in reserve, and am wondering if I need the microdelivery wash as well as 'the great mystery' and micro delivery peel 2 step treatment ?
Will I end up with bare, raw flesh on the old boat race ??

i think you can alternate the products and philosophy are supposed to be gentle enough to prevent causing any damage to your skin...i have used a few in the range and have to admit i am a bit of a fan but not the microdelivery products yet. i think you should be fine but ease into it slowly!

Just had a search on QVC and other sites to get a *rough* idea of costs.

The 6 Piece Favourites Set

Contains:-
1x 45.4g Poreless flawless spf £22
1x 236.6ml Field of Flowers shower gel £7
1x 14.2g Melon diaquiri lip shine £10
1x 118.3ml Purity made simple facialcleanser £8.50
1x 236.6ml Microdelivery exfoliating wash £16
1x 56.7g Hope in a jar moisturiser £31

So approximately £94 worth! (If i've done it correctly!) :o
Soz, shower gel is not a full size (473ml), so need to amend.....

I always use HIAJ, Purity and the lip shines so looks like I will be buying. :o

I'd love to go for the Auto-delivery but if the next shower gel is Cinnamon Buns, I'm not keen on cinnamon smells, but like the sound of the others. :(

Red I don't like true cinnamon smells either, but this is lovely and scrummy and not to heavily spicy like say a cinnamon candle might be (yuk).

I'm not going for the TSV but have ordered the OTO already.

Hi Bluebell...I have to say I found it a bit hit and miss...if my skin is in pretty good condition, it is a nice moisturiser with a little coverage and SPF, however, it is very light converage and you have to make sure you are well exfolliated or it tends not to blend very well...also, because of the tint, you must apply a small amount and build up....i would not recommend it as a must-have, but it is worth trying if it is part of a kit which includes other items you will use...good luck!

I am not keen on the HIAJ or Purity but liked the sound of supernatural but there are probably better tinted moisturisers out there so think I will give it a miss.
Philosophy will have to do something special to convince me to buy a TSV

what tinted moisturiser would you recommend?

I've just finished my second pot of Dr Denese SPF30 tinted day cream, I'm sticking with this as it feels lovely and goes on my skin v evenly. I bought it when their website had a huge sale and then went back and stock-piled. I'd still re-purchase at the full price of £35 when I finally run out.

hi bluebell, to be honest, i am in the same position as you - like their lipglosses, and like some of their other products, but not purity or hiaj (i wonder if they just put it in tsvs so they can claim the amount of product that is "sold" is higher than reality?). i think there are definitely better tinted moisturisers or i am quite fond of making my own...one of my favourite tinted moisturisers is sisley but not sold by qvc...but definitely shop around for one that will work with your skin and is not as hit and miss as the philosophy one....it is not good enough to justify the purchase of the whole tsv on!

 never understood all the hype around Philosophy either. Like the Great Mystery & some of the shower gels ( still vastly overpriced though for what they are IMHO). Thought HIAJ smelt foul, gave it to hubby and he threw it away after a couple of uses, and the perfumes are far too light for me & disappeared after an hour. Not impressed!

I just did the same last week, reception were quite amused.

I do advise ordering before you take-off to make sure that your goodies arrive before you leave though, . Also next time I would avoid the shower gels and body scrubs though because of the weight of them. That said I had a few worried moments waiting for my Pure Grace , Baby grace, the present, make-up optional, Hope SPF ,shower gels, body scrubs etc to arrive from skinstore. They were having a 20% off sale so were more busy than usual and had some delays getting stuff from their warehouse .

Honestly ladies and gents for Less than #150 I bought my years perfume and skincare. ( I told myself that but I still bought the TSV on Auto-delivery anyway , I need a bigger face to use all these creams!!! )

At Amazon.com Skinstore. com , there are really great bargains. And don't forget EBAY in the US , its like a pound shop price range for us!!!! I didn't get as much from Ebay as some sellers couldn't get to the hotel before I left .

Sadly I could not get QVC US to accept my card as I needed a US billing address, but with more time I probably could have found a way round that.

I recommend getting Philosophy from skinstore when you are there, free delivery, 10% to 20% off everything each time . But the US QVC has such a massive selection of philosophy and in great value kits I get frustrated everytime I look at their site.

I think QVC uk could use some of their "massive buying power " to go on holiday and bring us bag a suitcase of bargains ???? Then I may believe we are benefiting from their size and the weak dollar even adding VAT the philosophy prices outside of TSV's are rotten esp when add delivery.

Off to open more boxes and play with my haul...

even to have it posted from US from skinstore only costs $15 - about 7-8 pounds. currently they have 20% off if you spend over $100, which isn't hard to do. Regarding customs - they have always declared the correct value on the parcel and I have yet to pay anything additional on arrival.
i am just waiting for the booster capsules tocome back into stock - they are 1/2 price in US compared to here.

Not keen on the sound of Field of Flowers so decided will flog mine off when it arrives.

And look what I found whilst perusing!!

Does the poreless flawless do anything for any of you ? I tried it for the first time and am not impressed. :(

I was not impressed with it either, and even more so when I spelt some on my duvet cover and the stain from it won't come out.

I'm not overly impressed with it, i still have the tube form the last tsv. I much prefer The Present, I don't think this product compares really. Shame, because I really wanted to love this but just can't convince myself!

Just got mine - had a sniff of the FoF and DID think 'oh blimey, it's disinfectant!' - but I'll try it out in the bath and see what I think. Bit gutted actually as I've been longing to try it for ages.

I am hoping they will add and SPF to the Present. please please please .. then I will be proper happy.

The Supernatural I think is just OK , does seem to hide the open pores on either side of my nose very well. It's the texture I can't quite make friends with , seems to slip around too much , as soon as put any make-up over it feels like am removing it .

It is something I don't reach for that often .

I used it on holiday though as a suncream for the face neck and chest and was told my skin looked good ( always a boost !!) I recommend it for that .

but as a daily sPF over moisturizer and under foundation and for the price I would always choose Clinique City Block over any other primer/sunblock. It is oil-free and great !!

Hi,

I got my set yesterday.

I had a sniff of the FoF, and like everyone else though "uh-oh, cheap perfume"!

However, I did try it in the bath and as a hair wash today, and its not bad at all. In fact, an hour later, and the scent has almost gone.

I think I prefer the graces tho.

Cheers,
Karen

I really love the poreless flawless....I'm really pale and it gives me just enough colour to look healthy.
