Tony will be on Rocks & Co. Friday 22nd May (12am, 5pm - 7pm & 9pm - 11pm), Saturday 23rd May (3pm, 5pm - 8pm & 9pm - 11pm), Sunday 24th May (5pm - 7pm) and Monday 25th May (12am - 2am). If you’re passionate about gemstones, you can’t afford to miss Tony this weekend!

Apart from giving viewers the opportunity to know the whole story behind the gemstones available at Rocks & Co., Tony is also launching some gorgeous new arrivals: Danburite, Cinnamon Zircon, Patroke Kunzite and Santa Rosa Tourmaline.

Tune in 12am Friday morning to be the first to own stunning jewellery featuring Pink Danburite from Madagascar and Cinnamon Zircon from Tanzania. Danburite is a relatively unknown gem discovered in 1839 and is named after the town of its discovery, Danbury in Fairfield County, Southeast Connecticut. Due to its extreme Diamond-like brilliance, Danburite makes an excellent real gemstone alternative to Diamonds. Cinnamon Zircon is one of the queens of the increasingly popular spice coloured Zircons, named for their visual similarity to spices such as cinnamon, saffron and turmeric. The beauty of Cinnamon Zircon is due to its subtle blend of oranges, browns and pinks highlighted by Zircon’s sharp Diamond-like brilliance, eye-popping sparkle, Diamond-like lustre and high fire.

Other highlights include his premiere of Patroke Kunzite with Victoria Burton 9pm Friday, an ‘Exotic Gems’ hour 7pm Saturday, his premiere of Santa Rosa Tourmaline with Victoria Burton 9pm Saturday and ‘Pink Hours’ with John Scott from 12am Monday morning. There will be more surprises so make sure you’re watching each show and don’t miss out on something truly special.

Brazilian Tony Diniz has been in the gemstone industry for over 12 years and has many achievements under his belt. He was one of the first people involved with Mozambique Paraíba Tourmaline; he is the person responsible for first sourcing Patroke Kunzite while on adventures in Afghanistan’s Kunar Valley in 2007; and was the first to present Blue Fire Opal to the world, right here on Rocks & Co.

Don’t miss Tony Diniz this weekend on Sky channel 642, where he’ll give you the story behind the gem.
