OK, is it just me or does this look like Sky Blue Topaz or Moonstone to anyone else?

They started trying to flog this for £2,499 then with the usual garbage about "we shouldn't be doing this" etc etc etc etc, they then spent ages trying to sell it for £1,799 then another load of waffle and the price fell to £1,495 and finally £1,379.

Now personally I wouldn't pay 10% of that for it but what would you prefer? 2.07 carats made up of 9 anaemic stones or would you buy a beautiful neon single stone of similar carat weight from TJC for less money? Maybe something similar to this which is in their web shop for £1,299 and would be even lower if sold in a live auction.

Funnily enough the person who bought it at the last second pulled out - I bet she didn't see the price right and missed the 1 and 3 before the 79!

That's a no-brainer! TJC wins for Paraiba each and every time at the moment.

Rocks and Co have a cheek selling this rubbish expecting people to pay extortionate prices.

Not sure if the TJC picture is right for the Paraiba as they have the same picture for a Colombian emerald that was on air a few hours ago and it did look like the CE picture on air!

but do agree the PT on rocks is nowhere near the quality of TJC!

TJC are coming up trumps in a number of areas at the moment. Good quality gemstones and not over extortionate prices, plus a good range to suit all budgets! R&C PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!!!

I wouldn't make a space for that in my jewellery box even if it was free with no P&P.

Well spotted Gemcherub! You're right of course, it's the same picture! I think someone at TJC Towers has got a little confused although I think the Paraiba one is right :tongue2: It looks a wee bit blue for a Colombian Emerald me thinks! They do tend to do the same setting in different gemstones so one of the web guys probably got confused!
Compare it to the colour of this:- https://www.thejewellerychannel.tv/popups/viewdetail.aspx?StockCode=605535

Ha ha I think you're right there! :giggle: It would be a bit of a shock paying all that money for a CE, getting it home and opening the box and seeing that colour!:wink2:

Well TJC have never been the best with their graphics or spelling - never have been and doubt they ever will be!

HOWEVER, having had the joy of selling real, beautiful neon coloured Paraiba being aired on The Jewellery Channel these past few weeks, I can attest to their superior quality to the dire gemstones being flogged at astronomical prices on Rocks and Co.
