Infuriating

Why do they do this? Grrrrr! They've been pushing that gorgeous looking "Manhattan" rose ring every 15 - 20 mins all morning as a Managers Choice for 11.00 and a couple of minutes before its due they tell us its sold. I'd just got me coffee and was ready and waiting. This is just the sort of thing that drives me crackers. They clearly have no respect for our time at all. If a single piece is pushed like this then it should be withheld until the proper scheduled time. Otherwise show us the piece properly, maybe hourly, and just say that it's available to the firstcomer whenever that may be.

How bliddy annoying Argey, but let's face it, if someone was that desperate to have it, they'd have paid over the odds for it, so Gems wouldn't turn it down, so all that hype worked!!!!

If they're going to do that, then they should make sure they tell everyone the moment it's sold so people don't waste time waiting. Don't suppose they bothered to disclose how much it sold for????? NO, didn't think so!

They did that all the time when i watched they would show and show a piece but if you looked on the web it was also available to buy there and low and behold before the game it would be snapped up on the web and the presenter would say it must have gone to a personal shopper, but you could see it was sold on the web i'm sure people used to do it on purpose just to annoy gems lol

I'm fine with them taking the best sale they can, but if its one piece and an "open" sale they should tell us. Not everyone is so cheeky as to try and jump ahead. There's no way I would've been able to buy it, so am not bothered by that aspect, just cheesed off with having waited to see it, only to get an insincere apology and a non-special "special" price by way of atonement. The peculiar thing is, why on earth would anyone buy it at the inflated web price if it was coming on air? If you really wanted it, you'd wait until it came on air and then confirm the instant the graphics came up, before the price crash. This so rarely happens, that your chance of losing out would be slim. Some people are daft!

they did it the other day, Drew was presenting a ring, kept showing it, and building up to the big sell - and when it come to selling Drew, said "cant sell that, its out of stock!" I was quite peeved as it was a pretty ring - hey ho it seems to be the in thing lately - build up your hopes, and then rip the carpet from under your feet Lol xx
