Ok I really don't like rainbow sapphire jewellery - although I do have a few pieces SO, imagine my surprise when I found I had clicky finger when I turned over to see this:

It ended at £435 and apparently they have an easy pay option (not seen that before - no idea how it works)!

The colour matching on the piece that was shown was gorgeous and the design was unusual. Not sure how it will sit on the finger though because the central ring was quite bulky. Has anybody seen this in real life?

Not seen it IRL, Meesh, but funnily enough my clicky finger shoved that into my basket, too!

I'm thinking that the colour blending might be partly the luck of the draw - that ring that was manager's special the other day was also on again, and the colour blending was much better than the previous time on air. (Yes, that's in my basket, too - won't keep both of them, but might as well have a look-see.)

Think you're right about the colour blending. I think I've got to weigh up whether I'll actually wear it or not!

Identical, Meesh - are you sure? Could you post up an example?

There are certainly some designs on Gems that are NOT on BKK, and vice versa.

Like Lady Mad I'm also very partial to rainbow sapphires. :clapping:
Did anyone see the 8pm 'special' bracelet, with pear cut sapphires? Was multi-tasking at the time (taking a phonecall) and can only recall that it had 10gms of gold. It was very pretty and went for £599 or less I believe.

There were some very nice pieces on in the 9pm hour, but being on the phone I could only watch and enjoy! Can't believe Meesh that you have some earlier pieces from Gems you''ve not worn. Looking back, the prices they were asking that autumn when the first lot appeared seem great bargains. Sold like hot cakes as I recall!

I'm not saying they're the same company (I know they're not). All I'm saying is that BKK is supposed to make their own jewellery as is Gems but some of it is very very similar.

The first time gems did this collection in 14k gold loads (and i mean loads lol) of the designs were the same especially the 2 tone pendants, Meeshoo i think you have one of them and the gems ring i bought back then is similar to BKK as well

I don't think they are identical, Meesh - I think it's more a question of imitation being the sincerest form of flattery! For example:

The BKK ones clearly have some curvature to them, whereas the Gems ones (which I have) are completely flat. Also the clips are a slightly different shape.

On the Gems one, the central band of sapphires seems to protrude out from the edge diamonds more than on the BKK one. Also, the BKK one has filigree work inside underneath the sapphires, whereas the Gems one is plainer.[/QUOTE]

Thats the pendant Meeshoo i love it i think its so unusual, if i hadn't just ordered a few items i'd be begging you to sell it me lol

Many of the original RS rings came in a size 6, caught a few of us out ......if you recall! My first purchase is shown in the link....second one along, but in YG. And I'm scratching my head but hasn't the middle pendant been shown on Gems recently?? :33:

My hunch is that the latest batch weren't made by RS Collection, as most of the designs are different, but who knows?

Ah, I was only half watching, but the design did look familiar, it is quite striking.

Beautiful bracelet Miss M, perhaps it was one of a kind, it looks very special.
