Hmmm - went in to look for a silver pearl necklace I wanted a second one of for my daughter. I already have one on order from regular clearance at £19.74, and today's new "under £50 clearance" price £21.71. Two pounds here or there is not a problem except on principle, so no sale thank you Gems.

Gems' accountancy is very strange. Telephone customers are being led to believe they're missing out on something when in fact they are probably paying less. Why do they keep doing this, just as you start to regain confidence in them they go and do something daft like this. Of course "under £50 clearance" actually means nothing more than they are clearing out stock of items under £50, no promises of price reduction in that phrase. However, they know very well what the implication is and I hate this "crafty" business conduct.

I'm very disappointed in them - again. xxxxxxx

I noticed this too in the clearance the other day. Things which were advertised in the clearance pages as last chance to buy with supposedly mega discounts were actually more expensive than they had been in the regular web games.

Yet another clearance sale???? there has been more sales/ultra sales and clearance and ultra ultra clearance sales than one could shake a stick at! Next they will be giving it away! lol - well they would have to, if they wish to make me buy from them in the near future - i am so disillusioned with them, its not true! just had to send a ring back, after only having it three weeks - lost a stone! (and not in weight either lol!) so i have sent the ring back; wouldnt mind but this is now the second time that a ring i have purchased has done this. xxx

you say that funny but last couple of mornings 7am for the first hour if you buy an item they will give you an item of jewellery yesterday was MOP pendant and before that earrings

you know what is also very strange? When I go to "my gems", there is a section called Gemstv recommends. There is a selection of items similar to what you recently purchased, they select items you might like.
I saw yesterday a nice TP pendant: cost £72. I added it to my basket, where the price increased to £82?? I threw it out of my basket again. Today, the pendant is there again, but at £153????
I don't understand at all how they set their prices:cheeky:
