Meltdown prices?

I bought these earrings in the last price meltdown for £129, but they have just sold in this mornings meltdown at £227 thats 40%-45% higher, whats the point in advertising the amazing low prices if they are higher?

Surely that's against the law???? I'm no lawyer of legal beagle, but I thought a 'sale' was just that. Wouldn't Trading Standards be interested in this??

Price Meltdown doesn't really mean anything, so I don't think Trading Standards would be interested. However, they are behaving like a load of dodgy barrow boys when they pull stunts like this and only damage their own reputation. I just don't understand why they do this kind of thing, even with the huge deterioration in standards over the last couple of years, I really did think they were better than this.
