I was genuinely shocked at what was happening right in front of my eyes! It certainly was an unprecedented event.

I think everyone was shocked at the pieces and the prices hence the many many requests, you did well getting though them all looks like its going to be a very busy weekend!

Oooh, I misssed it all, was it a special evening then? Didn't notice that in my email. Will be watching today though!

Pariba and Tanzy in platinum huge stones at amazing prices, everyone kept putting in requests for them Barry was getting a little worried there wouldn't be any left for the weekend so he called Steve lol but there are plenty left on CR so it should be a good weekend, think i may have to take my laptop to work today lol

Anything in yellow gold? I don't wear white metals, so although I'm very keen on PT and tanznite, it's very limiting for me. I don't think I'm the only one.

Last night my beady little eye caught sight of this PT ring



but someone had already bought it from CR .... said she didn't want to risk missing out if it went to auction. I was genuinely pleased for her because all's fair in love and war and beautiful gems but a little disappointed not to actually see it on screen and, possibly, convince myself that it wasn't as nice as it looked in the pic. :thinking2:

So imagine my surprise and delight when I saw it was back on CR this morning. Two seconds later it was in my basket and off I went to the hairdresser with a spring in my step to get my rootytoots done.

Now picture my the look on my little face when I came back and checked my basket and it had gone!!

I "spoke" to Jayne in LiveHelp who told me that items bought on CR only stay in your basket for an hour. I had no idea so that was a lesson learnt the hard way wasn't it? :sad:

Sooo if someone on here has bought it I hope you really love it and please do a review and post a piccie when you get it home.

Uh-oh - I fear I'm your culprit, Fluff.

I spotted the ring last night, too, and requested in the auction; I was told there were technical difficulties which were preventing them from putting it on air, and they were trying to sort them out, so I hung on watching Rocks all evening in the hope that they would, but to no avail!

This morning when I checked, it had disappeared from CR, and I was told that it had been bought (in someone's basket); then it reappeard and I was promised that Steve would auction it at 3.00 p.m., after the Kama Charm hour. Unfortunately, by then it had gone again; so when it reappeared yet again on CR a little later I grabbed it and checked out PDQ!

Evidently, we've both been chasing the same ring - and it sounds as though we might not have been the only ones. If I decide not to keep it, I promise you'll be the first to know.

:hi: MissMagpie ... thanks for letting me know and I hope you love it. The colour of the PT looked amazing in the picture on CR didn't it? Do you know the actual size of it in mm? It looked a bit of a whopper so might've been too big for my diddy digits anyway.

If nothing else Steve will realise from reading this thread there's a few of us on here who'd like to see more of that quality PT set in yellow gold.

I spotted that ring too, ladies! It's a beauty and of all the new Paraibas loaded up on Friday, that was the one I liked best! As you say, it kept disappearing and reappearing.:sad:

I'd love to hear what your opinion of it is when you get it home.

Well, the photos can be deceptive - I did have one before (albeit a tiny one) from Rocks TV that lookeded amazingly neon in the photo, but was not out of the ordinary in the flesh. But I thought it was worth a look-see at least - I'll let you all know when I receive it.

Oh Fluff, what a shame you didn't know about the one hour basket rule. Hopefully Steve or Sarah will read this thread and realize that yellow gold lovers have slim pickings at the moment and would love to see more (hint hint). You never know, they might even repeat that design as it has proven to be so popular.

Regarding a couple of the stunning Pariba rings disappearing and then re-appearing. We have experience someone on our website putting them in their basket over the weekend and then emptying later on. Very unusual. We also had one that was our fault, which had the wrong photo hence it was pulled.

I really hope everyone that wants one gets one and I will definitely be trying to negotiate more similar stones next week.

Well, it definitely wasn't me, Steve!!

... but a little request from little ol' me to make up for my disappointment. :sad:

How about a 7x5mm cushion cut in the same neon colour as the one that disappeared from my basket, in a simple design with say 2 or 3 diamond accents on either side and set in 18k YG and in a size 4, please? :cheeky:
