A forum member was on about this a few weeks back, can't remember who though.

Undoubtedly it'll be the first ever blender in USA as they all have been so far....what do you reckon £200?

Place your bets....

It can't be more than Lakeland (£140), surely not.

Mind you if it is that'll solve my dilema - soup maker or Clarisonic which shall I buy........

She didn't make mistakes at the 2pm showing (not that I saw anyway). flexipay proved too tempting ordered via Topcashback so 5% back.

hmmmmmmmm a product not sold in the usa probably for a reason. think i will stick to my tin opener and my heinz oxtail soup

I've got a Kitchenaid liquidiser and if I hadn't I would definitely have bought this. It looked really easy to use and quick. The only thing I was concerned about was the quantity - I like to make a big batch of soup and freeze it - this only makes 1.4 litres.

It's the smaller size that appeals to me steelerannie as there is only me that eats soup and I get fed up of it when I make a big pot. My freezer is always full so freezing not always an option.

Although I would consider this, the size put me off a bit also. I think there is something special about making a 'pan of soup' on the hob. I don't think this 'gadget' would be suitable for a family, either.

Shame didnt get an out take from the show , see that lady demonstrating the other day and stuggling to get the blender beaker to sit right, took four attempts then they cut away he he , goes to show that Chef Paul makes it look easy ... Mark

OH gave me one for my birthday on Saturday..............I was rather hoping for a handbag, but hey ho I'm going to be a good little housewife and make lots of soup .................for myself!!

Hmmmmm i'm with your hubby on this get the bag and it could be wrong we all know what you girls like with bags :D or go for a good piece of kitchen equipment that will last for years when the bag is out of style ? Give that man a ciger :D

Looked a waste of space to me - in more ways than one. I already have a soup maker - it's called a saucepan - and I have a stick blender. Why would anyone need yet another clutterance taking up space on the work surface?

Now a giant Magimix to replace my 30 year old one which is on its way to the great kitchen in the sky - that would be a serious consideration.

Well it arrived yesterday and I've just made my first soup for lunch and I am very impressed. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be, heats up really really quick and I've just made a fantastic soup in 20 minutes. I could barely chop the veg quick enough. So much easier than using a stock pot/pan on the hob. Easy to use (I didn't bother with the recipe book, who does with soup?) and easy to clean.
