She really does sail close to the wind with her price claims - for instance she just showed this and stated that it would cost 2 or 3 thousand £s elswhere and she makes similar ott statements about all the Iliana and Rhapsody pieces. She really irritates me, but then she always has on all the shopping channels she's knocked about on. :rolleyes: :pPC:
 
She drives me mad with her constant comments about how Cheryl Cole would wear this and Cheryl Cole would wear that and Cheryl Cole has a ring like this and Cheryl Cole has a bracelet like this...........................So flipping what????? I HATE Cheryl Cole!!!!!!!!!!! Why the hell would anyone over the age of 15 want to emulate Cheryl ****** Cole?????????

I had to laugh the other day when in addition to her idol Cheryl Cole it was Alesha Dixon she was going on about - did she not realise that Gems TV were about the launch the Alesha Dixon Jewellery Range? What great advertising for their competitors eh?

Must admit, I really like Chloe. But, yes, she often sails a bit close to the wind with price comparisons. She also doesn't alays mention the "95p" which somehow really irritates me!

But doesn't irritate me as much as Cheryl ****** Cole (to quote Klos from up there ^^) - can't stand her.
 
... Cheryl Cole, that is, not Klos!!! I can't stand Cheryl Cole - just thought I should clarify :)

I don’t even know why tjc have the .95p on the end, I hate that!
Ever since they put that on there the prices have been £1 lower anyway
effectively saving £0.05 (most of the under £100 items that is)
Don't understand there logic there lol
 
Must admit I just saw the 95p thing as a sneaky way to get near enough an extra £1 on all items!

It's just one of those very silly things that niggles, and it is so insignificant that it is daft to get irritated by it BUT, it's there and it annoys me if a presenter doesn't state it! Chloe is the only one I've noticed as being guilty of this.
 
Surely the item would sell on its own merit if it were that great! I've always hated the comparisons drawn, wether it be to celebs or High end jewellers, just show us the gear, tell us what it is, and we will decide if we want it or not!!!! :rolleyes:

95p/99p is about the presenters being able to say "under £ ......." and is massively irritating along with the celeb comparisons. I turned on TJC this morning and there she was again (Chloe I mean), going on about prices just as you said PPC and within 30 seconds of me turning it on guess what she said?? Yes you've got it "Cheryl Cole has one like this"!!!!!!! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Does she really think that because she's totally obsessed with Cheryl Cole that everyone else is as well? Can she genuinely think that's a selling point and is going to make everyone rush out and buy? If that's the case why don't we all run out and assault a cloakroom attendant - after all Cheryl Cole did!!
