Zozzerzite - lol!

Watching poor Vicki C, all serious faced explaining(?) the formation of Tanzanite and wittering on about zozzerzite (as she has continued to do for many programmes). Wouldn't you think someone would tell her how to pronouce zoisite. It's a really poor show for a presenter to be attempting to give the appearance of being knowledgeable when they can't even pronounce (even remotely) what they are selling. This simply looks foolish and nothing said would be better than this embarrassing performance. I actually feel some affection towards Vicki, but I do wish she wouldn't try to do these in-depth scientific explanations, and general very strange use of adjectives.

This weekend I believe they had a brand new delivery straight from the Assay Office......
good depth of colour but all high end pieces....rather late for the Xmas market?

It does get a bit embarrassing when the so-called trained professionals make a repeated hash of it though lol

I do like Vicki C, but she does seem to get a little confused at times. You'd think that after all these years she'd know how to pronounce the poducts she's selling. What really irritates me though, is that she's always going on about a phenomena - just the one!

It's the varied (and variable) pronunciation of Padparadscha that gets me! There have been times when I wouldn't have known what gem was being sold without the graphics (and not just on GemsTV to be fair).
