I've started a new thread so as not to divert attention away from the very important enhancement thread.

This afternoon I had a look at quite a lot of the 9K and 18K rings for sale in the Shop. Admittedly I didn't look at all of them but the ones I did check said either "cannot be resized"

Just a few examples I found.

If these resizing restrictions are, as Meesh suggested, down to hollow shanks and lightweight gold then Gems is going to lose a huge number of sales and surely that's cutting off their nose to spite their face.

I really don't undersand what's going on in Gems Towers these days.

Most of the rings have had always had hollow shanks to differing extents and yet we have been told they could be resized and not just one size either way. So it seems the stones aren't stable enough for the re-sizing process or the gold weight has become so flimsy, the bands will bend or break during heating!

It's the reason I've stopped buying from Gems. I need to have all the rings resized and now it says a lot of them can't be - so I just don't buy anymore.
