Having nothing better to do, I decided to have a look at Rocks & Co as I haven't watched for ages. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! Washed out Paraiba, windowed gemstones, high prices, light as a feather gold weight, tacky designs, rubbish sales patter!! So what's new I hear you ask? Well, I can honestly say with hand on heart that every item I saw looked tacky, cheap, dull and basically YUK! My goodness, how the mighty have fallen! Tony "Legend in his own mind" Diniz should be completely ashamed of himself setting horrible gemstones like the ones I saw today and actually trying to pass them off as something special! I wouldn't have paid £5 for anything I saw today even if they offered me free P & P!
I think the time has come for Tony et al to hang up their picks - PICKS I said!! - and go off hunting in search of the Holy Grail instead. I really think he'll have more luck in finding that than making money selling the carp they are showing now!
Jerrilee did little to worsen the situation by telling everyone that Tony turned down loads of Paraiba a while back because it wasn't good enough but now that they are running out and he can't get any more, he's going back to the rejected, not good enough pieces and trying to buy them back at a much higher cost! Just shows you he knows his customers are just a bunch of mugs doesn't it?
