Why did Steve even have to mention that he went our for dinner with his "Friends and Competitors Nick & Ang".

Personally I just think it is very unfair to Nick and Angeline.

Mmm. But is mentioning it here being any less fair to them?

Well Steve has already made it public knowledge, it has already been put out there so you say something on TV and it is liable to be discussed.

to merge

I daresay he was being a bit tongue in cheek, and they wouldn't mind.

After all, it's well known that one of Steve's presenters (Rod) is actually married to one of his competitors' presenters (Lynn), and they must presumably have dinner together most nights! So far as we can tell that doesn't cause any problems...

Friends reunited...........

Well, having time for a social life is to be commended, particularly after the long haul business trips they've
undertaken recently. I expect it was a very enjoyable evening for all concerned as they've been friends for
very much longer than they've been 'competitors'.

Yes they had dinner the other night and Rod went home sick last night - no connection I trust! I'm sure Steve was kidding when he made the remark - just a joke between old friends I suspect.

Geez, what the heck does it matter. How boring, watching Rocks TV, hanging onto every word of a certain presenter, waiting for them to say something so that it can be reported back on here.
This feud is now verging on the ridiculous, grow up and get a life.:dull:

I have to say, I agree with badlyworntoy, cant we all just get back to how this forum used to be, enjoying everyones pictures of bling and bling buying ancedotes, it is starting to get a bit nasty now.
Off and hides behind the couch, awaiting the backlash <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D4%252F4%255F13%255F12v%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_13_12v.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D4%252F4_13_12v%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a>

Rocks have their faults just like all channels. All channels get positive and negative threads and Rocks are no different. I have loads of lovely items from Rocks but I have also had my fair share of issues with them, same goes for QVC over the years.
