<img src="http://www.shoppingtelly.com/images/bidtv/presenters_andyhodgson.jpg" border="0" alt="Andy Hodgson" title="Andy Hodgson" hspace="4" vspace="3" width="194" height="152" align="right" />Andy Hodgson has confirmed his intention to leave bid tv after a decade.<br /><br />Hodgson helped develop sit-up's shopping channel bid tv following its launch in 2000, along with becoming the network's most well known presenter.<br /><br />However, he will depart his current post as sit-up's controller of channels & TV revenue later in the month to explore new opportunities.<br /><br />"I wanted more flexibility in my lifestyle and to look for new opportunities," said Hodgson.<br /><br />"Now is perfect timing for me. I have learnt an enormous amount pioneering the world's first auction channels formats. I leave the group proud of the position we've taken it to."<br /><br />Sit-Up chief executive Ian Percival added: "Andy played a key role in growing sit-up from launch ten years ago into the successful business that it is today with sales of £200 million per annum.<br /><br />"Andy was part of the leadership team that created innovative new formats that have been copied by many other channels around the world. He is also well known to millions of viewers as one of the leading presenters on our bid tv channel."
