I've been watching bits of Jewellerymaker.com as I like to see other people's ideas. However, can I make a wee suggestion please? Carat weight is pretty irrelevant when buying beads. The only thing a jewellery maker is really interested in is the size of the beads and the length of the string that is being sold (ie 8 ins or 16 ins). Whilst carat weight is very significant when buying jewellery it really doesn't matter when buying beads. Thanks.

Are you tempted to make your own Klosblue?

Hi BB, I've been dabbling for a while now but no where near as good as you. My imagination lets me down a lot, I have loads of beads but just can't decide what to do with them! Think I need to get a bit more adventurous in my old age!

I don't see why they shouldn't tell us the length of the strands, bead sizes and equivalent carat weights. That would keep everybody happy and to be honest, it would be more professional behaviour.
