I’m starting to wonder if the studio is actually safe,
I know in the old studio there was a small fire

But in the new studio the other week, Jerilee Bonnor was presenting a Paraiba Tourmaline Ring and the light bulb flashed out and she was sitting in the dark, the same thing happened the other day with Karen Witchalls. Watching Victoria Norris yesterday she kept getting electric shocks from her microphone, and told us that Jerilee has had the same problem.
I really do fear for the safety of the presenters.

I bet they are using wired tie mics and not putting in a battery so they would have to send phantom power (48 volts) from their sound desk. Maybe if the mic is cheap it could be causing the shocks. Not nice for anyone to have to put up with.

And another bulb blown today!
Not exactly using longlife energy savers are they.

When you hear the rain on the roof, which they often point out, I think they must be in a portacabin at the end of some carpark. :giggle:

Only an hour in to today's prog and Jerrilee is finding it quite a shocking experience - again!

I'm sure all the glitzy synthetic fabric clothes the girls wear, and sitting on a (probably mainly) synthetic fabric chair, can't be helping much either. If they are naturally people who store static electiricity too ... 'fizz yeouch' :mysmilie_13:
