Does anyone know why this product is no longer available? Have tried QVC US also but no joy.

I've looked at QVC US site who state it is no longer available and the reviews people have left are also asking is it still available/when is it coming back.

I would email in next time Tova is on QVC UK and ask. There doesn't seem to be much around in the skincare line that she did years ago so maybe she is or has discontinued it?

:flower:

Well I must have been asleep as I have just found out that Tova sold her company to QVC in 2002! I thought it was a QVC exclusive brand but didn't realise that they now own it.

Anyway looks like the LE scenario where Tova just fronts the brand so maybe she had no say in what happened to the skincare line. Maybe QVC can answer directly?

Usual QVC style of products disappearing without explanation. At least when I was an Avon rep many moons ago you were told regularly which products would be no longer available so that customers had a chance to find an alternative or stock up on what is left.
Wouldn't hurt QVC to add something similar on their website, at least customers would know and wouldn't have stuff on waitlist forever (as I have) only to be told they can't get it back in when they knew all along that they couldn't.

it will, I assume be the usual story QVc did not think that it warrented making it when only a few, although very happy, customers bought it. Production costs outweighing or not meeting the products earning expectation.
Only a guess mind

She ouught to just flog the place where she gets her face frozen with those injections. She has two expressions: slight smile...and even slightly more of a smile.Thats it.

Talking of Tova.

Want to know the real story behind Tova the perfume?

Very interesting. I did find further articles that led me to the conclusion that it's the fragrance that is making QVC the most profit (judging by the link my thoughts were right) and not the skin care. Found this article which has a whiff of the LE Cleanse & Polish almond milk fiasco:

Another regarding the story of Tova:

Thanks for all the info ladies. Interestingly enough, I asked QVC about them owning the brand and was told No. Possibly the UK customer service don't know much about their parent company. Was also interested to read in that article, that the CEO said they monitor the threads for feedback. Does someone cleverer than me know how we can blitz them with requests for the Cactine Emollient. It is the only thing that keeps my skin safe at night during the winter, and having googled it, I gather lots of people also need it. :headbang:

You could try starting a Facebook page and get everyone who wants it back together and do a group bring it back.

But to be honest you will need to guarantee QVC sales of thousands for them to consider it. They will not put something in production if it only sells a few hundred a year.
