Hi - has anybody returned items, but not in original packing. I want to send back a coat but the box it came is too large for me to take back to the P.O. (this is the easiest way I send back returns) will it be ok if I pack up securely after all I suppose I have already paid for the packaging (P&P) so it is in fact mine to keep (lol)

When I ordered a B makowsky bag it came in a huge box. anyway I rang CS and they said I could return it in other packaging i.e a bin liner as long as it was secure. So I got one of those large plastic envelopes from work and returned it in that. I got my refund.

I have returned a Centigrade coat in a bin liner, taped it up securely and no problems.

I almost never return stuff in the original packaging, I refuse to pay extra postage.
