Sharon the model's hand

I am feeling brave and want to ask am I the only one who finds Sharon the model annoying? It is the thing she does with her hand, and the blowing kisses to the camera looks like she should be in a porno. She annoys me so much no matter what the hour is, if she is on I turn off :mysmilie_503:

I can't watch her myself - have to turn off. Thank goodness she doesn't do beauty shows now. Loves herself. Yuk !

Sharon is rather OTT,she is not one of my favourite models.

Not a fan here either. I find her distracting but that is probably a good thing when the clothes she is models are so nasty.

I have to switch her off.
Gets right on my you know whats.

I'm in a minority by the looks of it but I don't mind her. I always think she looks stylish and elegant.

Nice girl I'm sure but I could never stand her swanning around.She has taken her style from poor old Paul the Octopus who has sadly just died.

I agree.. I've a suspicion the air-kissing and hand thing are a bit tongue-in-cheek.

I like Sharon, I think she does it very tongue in cheek to relieve the boredom of the tat she models. Now Beth is another matter,if she is on the tv goes off.

I like her too and feel she comes across as elegant. The hand movements are a bit odd but I can't say I have ever found them annoying. Isn't she the model on the old baby lotion advert jumping around?

My daughter and I met Sharon and Tanya a couple of years ago and both are lovely; very down to earth, unaffected and I got the impression they love QVC fashion as much as we do :wink: They were v professional though and wouldn't be drawn into criticising the ranges they model.

They both chatted away to DD for about 15mins (she was about 12 at the time). We joked that we're not really model material (I'm 5' and DD is now 5'2") but Sharon said to write to her at QVC if DD ever wanted contacts in modelling regardless of height as her face is apparently symmetrical and heart-shaped. She also chatted to her about drama training. Meantime Tanya and I were chatting and she has a very sharp sense of humour.

I agree the hand movements are OTT but if I looked that good in Kwim & Co I'd get away with camping it up too! I don't think it's anything more than tongue-in-cheek.

I like her too. Doesn't annoy me at all, in fact I find her extremely entertaining and she does the job that she is supposed to to.

Where's Beth?? Haven't seen her for a while.

I think Sharon is good, she looks as if she is enjoying herself and making the most of what she has to do. I agree she looks fantastic in anything.

GOODY is the one who gets my goat. All that hair swishing from front to back. She has a great figure though it must be said, BUT its the smile - its frightening ! And is'nt calling yourself by your surname a little pretentious and twee; her name is Jane whats wrong with that ?

the nail varnish was a bit chipped maybe she just stepped in at the last moment. but she has lovely hands and nails i wsh mine were elegant like that.
sharon is tongue in cheek and just enjoys herself the best model on qvc with tanya,joy and ali who does the butler and wilson stuff. beautifull in real life is ali saw her at leyton station a while ago. stunning!:rock:

Isn't it wonderful how people are so different, none of the other models bother me but her. I wouldn't call her stylish at all, I much prefer Joy she always looks good IMO.

i like Sharon and reckon she does a lot of the posing in a slightly ironic way especially given the tat she has to wear. She is blessed with a figure that makes almost anything look good, lucky woman.
