I see the the chocolate guys been wheeled out for British Village Foods show, saying he's not only a chocolatier but a gourmet food expert.
Is he the one that didn't know what the chocolates contained and if a chocolate item was gluten free or nut free ?

What about the price of this cheesecake £33.60 and mores the point the cost of £6.50 to have it delivered.

That's completely crazy! Waitrose sell yummy slices of cheesecake, that can be bought as a whole or in slices and they work out under £12 and they're not bloomin' frozen either. Who in their right mind would spend over thirty pounds on a dessert?!!!! I don't care how delicious they say it is....it's a cheesecake ffs!

That much and no garlic bread

looks nice but far too expensive for me

I usually make my own Baileys cheesecake at Christmas and it costs no where near that amount

Marks and Spencers usually sell their party size deserts for about £13, went to a friends last year who had bought one and it was absolutely gorgeous

Get English Cheesecake Co, about £10 cheaper n free delivery - best cheesecake in the world!

need emergency cheesecake fix?

take one mcvities digestive biscuit.
apply a generous spoonful of philadelphia cream cheese (full fat, and plain obviously) - spread lightly.
top with a spoonfull of bonne maman strawberry jam.

eat, preferably in one gobfull before making another.

I know the guest, when doing Duc D'O chocolates, says he is a chocolatier But he also mentioned knowing about chocolate because he provided chocolate fountains for events. I'm not entirely sure that is the same thing …

just be aware that there are experts at food photography, and they make anything look fanatstic, sadly - in my experience, the contence often does not reflect the tempting photograph
And I think that much money for a cheesecake borders on criminal

Just took a look for the expert - Michael Murphy and turned up these links.
Seems he has some chocolate experience http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00262HM1A/?tag=shoppingcom03-21
but also some other experience too!

I'm sure he's expert in both fields, but it always amazes me just how many different things some people do!

I wonder if most "learned" chocolatiers, who started out as pastry chefs and then specialised would not consider him a chocolatier?

sorry never learned how to multi quote in one message

Chocolate lovers might like the following - I haven't tried it myself yet mind you...! There were photos in the original email but I don't know whether they will appear here..they're not in the message preview but believe me it looked ****** delicious!

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

Most dangerous cake recipe in the world

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well.

Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.

Add the chocolate chips (if using)

and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT!

(this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous)

why it's the most dangerous cake recipe in the world !

Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from

chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!
