I am seriously considering buying the Karcher K2950 Pressure Washer which is on offer for £99 at the moment on IW. Has anyone bought this or a similar item and is it as good as it appears?

I would be after an appliance which would make it easier to: wash the car, clean the patio, wash windows and clean the garden furniture. It would be for normal domestic use so do not need anything super powerful, but at the same time I don't want to waste my money buying this if it is not powerful enough for my needs, or if it is too much hassle to set up/put away.

I am also a bit sceptical of the demos as it looks as though in some cases the items that are being cleaned have been dirtied specifically for the demo, so I would very much appreciate any honest reviews.

I bought the Karcher K397 a couple of months ago but I'm ashamed to say I haven't got round to taking it out of the box yet!

my (late) dad got one the other year for the patio and we would be lost without it, we have trees over the garden so the patio can get slippy after a downpour, so it comes out a few times a year and brings the patio clean and non-slippy.

You could possibly get one cheaper else where though.

Firstly dont beleive the full price they quote it is rubbish everone else seems to be selling it for the same price.

The best one about is from Aldi made by Karcher, none in the stores at the moment they are around £70 + £20 for the T Racer, but you can pick them up on Ebay for about £50 for the complete kit, the T Racer is better as its adjustable and the washer is 150bar, the Ideal world one is 110 bar.

It also has a built in detergent tank so no faffing around with a bottle and a pipe and it includes a rotary brush.

I can throughly recomend the Powercraft one as that's what i use and i got mine off ebay.
