Peter Simon just sold the 10.1mp Vivitar camera for £18.99 ??
Now Bid i must ask you that it was actually sold for £1 more than advertised.
The adverts on TV and web did say £17.99 and also in an email to me yesterday!!
Are you wanting us to report you for lying to the ASA as that is what it seems to me? ..............

Hmmm, I've just seen the auction and, coincidently, the advert which was shown about twenty minutes later.

You're correct, the camera sold for £18.99 but was advertised at £17.99. Maybe they have a get out if they sell/auction the same camera for £17.99 on another occasion during the promotion. Cock-up or dishonesty? Probably cock-up.

I bet bid.tv keeps the ASA busy. :clapping:

That one they sold was not part of the premotion though. I saw it with him, and they weren't saying 'oh this is the lowest ever.'

EDIT: Bid.tv just backed this up, as Neil said this on their facebook page, and the one for £17.99 was sold on the web for £17.99. I saw it on the web, as I did get an email, and they sold 125 of them.
