Does that mean bigger kaftans?

Can the world take that much polyester?

Mr Hancox, who joined the company in November 2008, has led a turnaround in fortunes after Ideal Shopping shares slumped to 21.5p in March 2009 and following losses of £13.2 million for trading in 2008.

Ideal's problems stemmed from IT systems that were "not wholly fit for purpose" while Mr Hancox also criticised a lack of variety in its schedules.

Wow, in the three years he's been with them he's done such a good job of improving the variety in the schedules hasn't he?

Also £77.9 million of that £78 million profit is from disgruntled callers ringing the premium rate telephone numbers to complain and try and get items redelivered or cancelled...so...:giggle:

Wonder if they bought it on Flexi-pay? And does it come with a 90 30 16 day money-back guarantee?

not surprised the shares have dropped and they were running at a loss with the crap they have been trying to sell the last year or so it's a wonder they had a shopping channel to sell at all. lets hope the new people will bring in new products and make the channel worth watching and give us something nice to buy.

The shares had dropped but have gone up in recent years - the company is profitable at the moment and doing well. That's why the investment company has bought them. They think they can increase the sales and then sell them in a few years for a nice profit.

i think they need to have more karcher and the amazing ladder hours and maybe throw in a tom tom and a ubi surfer for good measure then they would have the customers flooding in. oh wait they already do that
:p
