Before I go any further I'm not sure which shopper it was on, but as the Situps rubies always look so milky and dull I presumed it was from one of their channels
Anyway! On Cash in the Attic, one of the things found was a ruby ring bought from a shopping channel a few years back for quite a bit of money. The valuer classed it as gold and 'pink stones', and put a very low estimate.
I have never bought precious or semi precious stones from any shopping channel but I have several cz rings bought for peanuts and I'm very pleased with them.
