While looking through the TJC website I noticed some Iliana MixG tanzanite. I hope I'm not being stupid here, but I've never heard that expression, so can anybody tell me what MixG means please?

I have no idea but was just wondering whether it meant the tanzanite had a green mix in the colour?

Could be Sweetpea but I thought that all their Iliana tanzanite was supposed to be AAA grade?

It's not limited to Tanzanite look at these:

and there's loads of others.

I suspect it means Mixed Grade - i.e. there are 10 of the same item available and some will be graded higher/lower than others.

That's only a guess but it would make sense if they don't want to list each one individually.

Well I must say that I am surprised. I called customer services some months ago to enquire about an Iliana tanzanite ring that was on their web-site but was not listed as AAA grade. I was told the reason was, that the particular ring was old stock but she assured me that they always have used 3A stones in their Iliana range. The presenters always make a big thing about only the best stones go into this range so obviously with some rings ...

... things can be a bit hit & miss?
