QVC Mobile has closed - noticed it on the site earlier - due to lack of popularity I think.

The message that comes for me is this one that says 'QVC Mobile closes due to a lack of popularity'.

I agree not everyone has an iPhone, but to me the death sentence was inevitable when they started blocking people looking at the mobile site from their desktops etc

Charming!! Not everyone has a iphone!!!
Sounds like not enough to bother with the mobile site - even on my phone I would not use the mobile site as you can just use the normal site.
