Peter Simon claims Thomas The Tank Engine was written by Rev Aldwin (of course was Rev W Awdry) and that Thomas live on island of Sandor (of course he lived on island of Sodor).

What a load of waffle he comes out with.
 
It's a real pity that they don't seem to let Peter Simon sell electrical products nowadays because his previous attempts to sell them were hilariously bad and always great fun to watch. Indeed that in a nutshell is what's wrong with Bid/Price-drop nowadays; too much hard sell and not enough fun, plus of course the almost completely awful product selection.
