Gosh, he was really going overboard with this.....the most remarkable piece of jewellery he has ever seen on Bid - extraordinary, stunning, magnificent! You would have thought he'd found the Holy Grail the way he was going on - thought he was going to hyperventilate! Apparently triple A tanzanite is so rare a jewellery expert of 30 years standing has never seen one before. Funny that, 'cos QVC regularly have Premium Tanzanite shows with triple and quadruple A tanzanite. And if it is so stupendous, why is it only set in silver?

I was just about to post about this, Peter Simon has just been selling this http://www.bid.tv/PreviousAuctionProductPage.aspx?Cat=7&SubCat=26&Offer=4840868 and said how rare it was and how we will never see this great product on this channel again, we just won't be able to get it again, Well what would you know scheduled on bid for 19th December at 22:25, they have another 94 of them :O http://www.bid.tv/ProductDescriptionPage.aspx?Id=4841260&Cat=7&Sub=26&Type=Categories

What is more shocking is the start price on this is £330 but they sold 100 tonight for wait for it £329.97

The above is a lie and nobody can say it isnt, The people who bought it also paid more than the start price with p&p, madness

Well it's nothing particularly special. Yes, decent quality stones, but very small. Certainly nothing out of the ordinary, despite what that old fraud might say. :cheeky: He's just started on one of those bleedin' worry angels now - two bits of gold finish tat and a misshapen crystal hanging off a cheap chain. He is making it sound like some kind of spiritual experience - really on a roll tonight. What cobblers!

I was thinking somebody would post this! :p When he said about an expert not seeing one before, I started laughing! I know the jewellery channels sell AAA tanzinite quite frequenntly, so I flicked through, and yes, gems tv had AAA tanzinite on :p It must be VERY rare ;)

And we all know it's called 'double A' or 'triple A' well, at one point he decided to call it " 3 A tanzinite" ;)

They must have bought it in so much bulk, as they've sold thousands of tanzanite items recently! :L

Very true about it set in Sterling Silver. - Checp move if you ask me. If you spend £300+, it's not a metal they should be using. But it wouldn't have surprised me if they used silver plate :p lmao

More of this ultra rare tanzanite is on tonight and Peter Simon has spent the last 10 minutes talking rubbish, He says this is only the second time he has had AAA tanzanite, funny that i've seen him have it a lot more than that, We have more chance of winning the euro millions than finding this stone again, As little as a decade, 15-20 years left of this gem, we are the biggest retailer of gems, able over the last 6 months with the help of James Russell and others to aquire a stock which we are going to make available to you as clearance buys, Most extrodinary stone he has ever witnessed, Less than 1% is AA grade and even less for AAA

On the first item apparently we should be looking to pay £700-£750, 1ct rough cut tanzanite will cost more than £300, If you got it for £750-£800 its what you would expect to pay, It came in at £399.99 and a price to clear down to £379.99, then down to £371.99, then £364.99 and now we are reminded we are looking at a lot of money here £700-£1000, finally to £147.80, Same thing online http://store.bid.tv/bidtv/Sterling-...e-Cluster-Ring/GV124126/ProductDetail.raction for £114.99

OHHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO its just got worse Helen Bates is on, fingers will be reaching for the remote rapidly

Tanzanite apparently will never let you down, jewellers and merchants are hoarding it, Peter keeps reminding us its our only chance to buy these items

Lol Tanzanite is the thrill of my life says Peter Simon. Just the most incredible meteoric of the world's tanzanite. AA grade rare stone puts some of the greatest gem names to shame just the most magnificent... oh wow!! oooh Have you ever seen anything like it? Quite Extrordinary.

Helen has dropped them in it saying loads of Tanzanite in Cayman Islands so Peter had to explain why they have loads of it hahah!

"Huge, magnificent my illiteration will not do this justice" says Peter. Extrordinary absolutely extrordinary I have never seen...unbelievable its ubelieveable.

These are spectacular! A fusion of beauty! Just magnificient! Tiffany inspiration.... Platinum, diamonds and tanzanite the rarest in the world this is. Buy them it the romance of tanzanite the history, the legend the folklore these are spectacular, beautiful, the colour, the light that shines on the platinum, a catalyst of fire that creates a passion, a class only own by a certain woman, conformity to any age range does not exist, spectacular, the only known deposit in the world it is depleting, legacy will passon from generation to generation. etc etc

On that note i'm switching my brain off before it melts from all the lies he tells, No wait I had to post this

£1200, £1500, £1800 you would expect to pay for this pendant apparently http://www.bid.tv/ProductDescriptionPage.aspx?Id=4841761&Cat=7&Sub=26&Type=Categories yet the start price was only £230 :O now thats a shocking lie

If you got this for £1200, £1500 you would have a great buy yet it had a start price of £380 and is 1 of the most amazing pieces he has ever seen, sold for £299.99 wow its much cheaper on the website at £197.99 http://www.bid.tv/PreviousAuctionProductPage.aspx?Cat=7&SubCat=26&Offer=4841780

Peter has had to sit down for this as its the second time in his life he has seen a AAA tanzanite, You would look or be prepared to pay £3000, We get the idea here now the start price was only £640, Says James Russell tells him this is only the second time he has seen AAA tanzanite, Jewellers can't get them, http://www.bid.tv/ProductDescriptionPage.aspx?Id=4841777&Cat=7&Sub=26&Type=Categories

His continual gushing is making throw up. I've turned over to watch something else. :mysmilie_484:

I usually catch a bit of this exquisite tanzanite later in the evening and I have never heard him talk measurements of stones etc. Last night it was 'huge stones'. Well they did look huge on that bliddy great blown up pic behind him, but he never said the actual size. Nor did he mention the metal, although they did have 925 stated but if you didn't know what that meant, you'd be none the wiser.

I reckon that's what they have to put inside Peter Simon to start him up.

Expect £1000 and be prepared, Start price £430, They don't seem to be uploading the previous auctions since about 19:30
Expect, love be prepared would love to get this item for £600, Start price of £190,

Not only in the quality of the stone, Not only in the cut, Not only in the colour, I was so excited when I saw this range, After over 12 years of jewellery

I do think these tanzanite rings, pendants, earrings are nice but there is no reason to lie like he is doing, Saying something should cost 10x + the start price, How on earth do they get away with it?

Lol just flicked back to Bid and it's like i gone back in time he still stood there with a tanzanite thing on the screen behind still saying it's wonderful. blah blah blah

finally updated now http://www.bid.tv/PreviousAuctionProductPage.aspx?Cat=7&SubCat=26&Offer=4841777, Another 1 where Peter Simon will hopefully be able to sleep tonight knowing he almost got the start price for this item and has not cost the company a fortune :clapping: but lets not forget we should expect and be prepared to pay £3000 for it :cheeky: so what a buy at ome that was

Final tanzanite with Peter and we should expect to pay £500, The start price was £125, Things are going very slow now either everyone has nodded off from tanzanite fatigue or everyone has already raided their piggy banks to get the earlier rare tanzanite or maybe after 2 hours 45 minutes of the same thing on a loop it has become boring
