I remember that list of items in a jewellery avalanche and there was only one of them that (IMO) was possible to call anything like a bargain. Also note that the P&P sometimes also sneaks up to £7.99, which is even odder considering that the postal insurance required for the item is probably about 10p

Even Ratners (from memory) were a bit better than them, though they did have some real tat in the window as well. Presumably the Sit-up channels have now filled that gap in the market for twee trash trinkets that are worth a fraction of their asking price...

The reason they have to lie is the Gerald Ratner effect because he had the guts to say he sold crap his business failed so Bid can't say there goods are crap if he had been praised for being honest the shopping world may have been a different place.
