Bid Stats

ShoppingTelly

Help Support ShoppingTelly:

Which IS weird, since the stats on the left say that 37% of Bid's buyers are male while 63% are female.

Nice to see they can read their own figures

They do say that the audience is "is more male orientated and younger than the average TV home shopping audience", which does suggest that other shopping channels are even more female-orientated than the Bid channels (63% female); something which I can believe.

Unsurprising but scary fact: "The average buyer has spent over £200 across over five purchases in the past year!"

Though to be fair I DID make my very first Bid purchase on Saturday!

I bought a set of 2 fleece shirts off the Bid website for £14.99 plus £5.99 postage. I received them today - well done Bid :clapping:

However, at the same time I bought mine off the website, Charlie was selling them on screen. They eventually went for £16.99 plus £7.99 p&p. Not forgetting the £1.53 phone call. That's £5.53 more than I paid at the same time from the same company! :wonder:
