Where is there call centre?

There is a post on QVC forum, saying a lady ordered something from IW and got put through to an Indian call centre.

Which surprised me as i thought there call centre was in same building as there studios, cause i heard howard say the other night, we have maximum call operators on this particular item it could have been last weekends Toshiba POTD, he said when its busy, we got the specialist operators, who no about gardening, from garden bargins, and the specialist operators from Love Pets, and we move em all over to just doing calls for this product

Been in India for some time I believe but is coming back to the U.K. (Hopefully).

I used to order quite a few things on IW but the people in the Call Centre drove me insane never understanding what the heck I was on about and if you had a query then God help you. Customer Service was abysmal.

Another lady also posted how they try to keep you on the phone as long as possible. This is true.

I liked my purchase but the packaging was cheap and nasty. If anything had been broken I know I wouldn't have stood a chance getting anyone to understand me.

So I just hope I am not tempted by anything again for a long time.

Selling a mini frying pan yesterday, he was going on about portion control and weight

Urg can't stand the humourless, charismaless (is that a word??), boringly mundane fool that is Howard

I mainly just watch the techinical hours, as i like andmy techie, and cant work, because i got skin problems, and cant risk it being touched, so i tend to watch a lot of shopping channels, and if i want abit of light hearted fun, i normally turn on to ideal world, and i have noticed some stuff they say is gonna sell out quick, is still being shown like 10 airings later, and still not limited, so this ooh it will sell out this hour, is silly.

Not so long ago I heard Howard say "I went and had a look in our call centre the other day", and he started going on about what it looked like, how big it was, etc.
Nice to know he's so dedicated to his job that he'll fly all the way to India to check out the call centre then come back quick enough for his next shift. :cheeky:

Then on a show on Christmas day (selling watches with Debbie) he said "Our phonelines have been very busy today". Now this was a show that was recorded especially for Christmas day. So he's a psychic now as well?

I seriously can't believe he gets away with the rubbish he talks.

Howard is a muppet. And the call centre is definitely in India.

Poor howard griffiths, hes probably a real nice guy, a true gent
