That's what you're supposed to do in the sense of hygiene purposes when trying on + it's probably for modesty too since it's on telly (in fact didn't Julia say something about 'we can't show you that' in reference to one of the products or even the one you refer to? which would support the modesty issue: let's face it, you would have to be careful on an underwear show, wouldn't you?!). Once you buy them and wear themselves, I suppose you could wear them without your knickers.

Well that would make a change for once.
Though nearly didn't herself when she pulled down her dress and her air bra was also slipping off her shoulder.
Luckly Julia wasn't looking at her own self in the monitor at the time and spotted the flash in the making.
