Simon Biaggi did it this time on the bargain thingamy they showed yesterday.
He showed 2 tubes of Gatineau handcream. It was selling as a duo. OK fine.
He opened the tube, spread the cream all over his hands, used all the right words, prestigious, luxurious, renouned, amazing, use for a present etc. etc. but no mention of the size we were getting for our money.
He conveniently turned the tubes around so we couldn't see the ml. size. Oh, so they must have been the minuscule size then I imagine that we often get tricked into buying and can't be bothered to send back!
When I buy an item of similar 'prestigious' description in a High street store, the first thing I look for is how much is in the tube/pot whatever!
Alison is guilty of this and confuses new customers like we all were once [and have learned].
She goes on about FULL SIZE only when it is worth considering.
Don't forget everything looks so much bigger on screen and with good photography can seem huge.
QVC, PLEASE HAVE ALL YOUR SELLING INFORMATION AT HAND AS YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE CUSTOMERS FAST!! [OR DO YOU CARE WITH ALL THE NEW INNOCENT, VULNERABLE CUSTOMERS TO REPLACE THEM].
