Did I hear right that beauty month is June this year and not July as normal?

Yes, you're correct.
The reason (according to AY) is that most mums are too busy to watch in July because of the school holidays, so they have brought is a month early this year!
Makes no sense to me TBH.

i thought the schools broke up at the end of July over there. Or they used to when I was at school. If beauty month is anything like the beauty festival weekend just gone, it won't be very interesting anyway.

In Scotland the schools usually break up end of June/1st week in July depending on date
this year its the 29th June and not so sure about England but its usually about 3 weeks later
