Aquamag.

Aquamag is useless. Don't believe the bunkum, they don't work! How can they sell such garbage? If this sort of thing worked, they would be made by the likes of Philips and other big companies. I got suckered and bought the original Aquamag from QVC a few years ago. It does not reduce lime scale, it does not even prevent lime scale. I still get lime scale in my kettle and shower head! Buy this junk and the only thing you will get is a slightly higer electricity bill!
If you don't believe me check out magnetic water coditioners on the net.

My understanding of these products, is that they reduce lime scale in the pipes, and not to necessarily purify water when it reaches the tap
