Charlie Vernon - STOP Shouting at us!

Charlie Vernon has taken over the night tine shouting duties, there is no hope as Steve Bennett just came on screen so if she shouts in front of him it must be what is wanted.

I noticed that the other evening and I thought, goodness, she's got loud! Much more so than when she was a regular on Xtra. (I still miss Alan.....:sad

Perhaps it's the size of the studio, Xtra was a like a cupboard and Gems is quite spacious.....p'haps therefore they feel the need to compensate...forgetting they have microphones attached. Just a thought! Are they also shouting on Rocks USA? :tongue:

I'm now 99.9% certain they are directed in this way. I had a quick peek on reading this thread and must say that Charlie is lovely on JM where shouting (so far) is not a requisite, although a couple of them just can't help themselves. I noticed too that's she's doing the phoney excitement thing - what's that about? I watched her a couple of times telling me about Kyanite from the Himalayas,some from Tibet and some from Naples. Another day she was telling me about the Tuscan gem fair.
All I can say is thank God they have all taken the gem exam ,although Chloe,TJC, has told me about Peruvian Green Opal from the Balkans.
Never did believe much of what they say however much they shout it.
