So Mr. Russell, if I type in '1ct Star Ruby' into Google it'll be more than £1500?

Erm, no.

I even found an 11ct Star Ruby for under £500 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/11-78-Car...A%2BFICS%2BUFI&otn=21&pmod=120881365380&ps=54

and Mr. Russell's producer says he found one for 3K.

Sure, if it's coated in diamonds, white gold etc...

Think he forgets about the Sterling Silver :taphead:

Liar Liar, your bums on fire! :giggle:

I love to watch him selling jewellery, just to hear what claptrap he spouts. What with the knuckle biting, the puffed out cheeks, the stopping of the music, and the producer supposedly going into meltdown because they are taking a big hit on the price, it's hilarious.

Last night he was trying to pass off a crappy perfume by Jean-Paul Dupont (registered in Texas 2009) as being from S.T.Dupont the celebrated Parisian luxury goods house;'Just type in the name Dupont and see the luxury goods that come up.'

The culture of the channel is quite rotten-the owners, Aurelius AG,should take a keener interest in the ethical shortcomings which will eventually scupper the company's prospects.

That's really low and just attempt to rip off viewers. It's actually quite disgusting trying to pass off cheap tat for luxury goods. This isn't far from trying to sell counterfeit goods. Sit-up Network are shisters!

Do I get the impression that the company as a whole is slowly but surely heading in the direction of a huge fall? This may just be wishful thinking but they surely can't carry on with such behaviour forever even if nobody sanctions them for what they're currently saying and doing (and they certainly ought to as well).

How many people can be fooled into thinking these things, and for how long?

Totally agree. They feel more and more like Auction World everyday.

Situps must have been desperate to take James Russell back. He doesn't even know how to wear a waistcoat properly and some of the 'information' he gives out about gems is hysterical. I expect that every time they scrape the barrel, there he is, sitting firmly one the bottom.
