Hehe I think they might have. There again for £8 they should be quick! But I was pleased.

Happy to report after my first attempt at an omelette in the aforementioned device (ham, onion and hot pepper cheese) it is a really neat easy to use machine. Even with the P&P and call it is worth it. Tasted delicious.

You're happy to pay £8 p&p??? You are as gullible as the rest of them! One born every minute.

Anything sent by mail order can sometimes be a bit more expensive compared to the same item sold in a local shop depending on the profit margin, so it's basically down to whether or not you can buy an identical omelette maker for about £17 (or less) from somewhere else.

(Personally i've stopped using eBay so generally exclude that from comparisons.)

Of course I would like it cheaper but as the auction happened I price checked it and even with the extra charges they were cheaper.

PJ :)

It was £5.99 for me and I am really pleased with it :)
That is a decent price. I've seen a functionally-similar cupcake maker on sale in a discount shop for £9.99, though of course that product could be physically smaller than the sandwich maker (it's not that big in size). So £14 including postage (but not the phone call, if any) is pretty good, all things considered.
