It's the way they use the word Crystal that gets me! I used to believe that a crystal was something fairly valuable. I remember my Grandparents having a beautiful set of crystal glasses and a decanter that they wheeled out on special occassions. I also remember being given a beautiful crystal pendant for a present for being a bridesmaid when I was younger. It is also the gift given on ones 15th wedding anniversary! Nowadays, well on these channels, the word crystal is bandied around to describe any old fragment, or chip of glass that goes into their costume jewellery.....They describe those London Treasures jobbies as being encrusted with crystals....Rubbish!!!!!! Imagine receiving one of those for your 15 years of marriage - I'd expect a swarvoski at the very least lol!, which imo is the only thing these channels should be allowed to refer to as crystal...somebody mentioned polishing a turd before!
