Got in from the pub last night with my Chinese Chicken Curry and decided to switch on bid while eating it. There was our old friend James Russell. He was selling a pocket watch with a Churchill crown as the dial. For those who don't know, a Churhill crown was a 5 shilling piece specially struck by the royal mint to comemorate the death of Winston Churchill in 1965. "This is a very rare coin" says Russell. No it's not! Many thousands were minted, there are plenty on eBay and people find it hard to get £1 for them. Next he called the crown a half crown! (idiot)
As the dial of the watch was the crown coin, there has to be a hole drilled in the centre for the post which holds the hour and minute hand, thus devaluing the coin even further!
To cap it all off, the hour hand on the watch was bent!!!

I really hate Watches which use coins as dials. It makes a cheap awful dial.

Really!! If you're going to sell tat like that, you ought to show a half decent sample.

What a bunch of jokers.
