You lucky people can now be the proud owners of a gold coin which was seen in the film, The Curse Of The Black Pearl. This coin is in a frame together with a DVD cover and a plate telling you what you have. There is also a certificate of authenticity on the reverse. You also get the DVD of the film. All of this for only £99.99.

Wait a minute though, that coin looks completely wrong to me! The coin I remember seeing in the film, looked more like this one.

The whole thing looks very fishy to me. Well, if you have more money than sense I suppose!

Luckily I haven't

Another rip-off from Bid Shopping. Typical Peckham Market stall approach to selling. :dull:

Pirates of the Caribbean DVD - £4.34p
Gold coin that looks fack all like the original - £5
Frame - £5
Crappy looking plaque - £4

Total = £18.34p (if that).

It's this sort of shite that gives Bid TV Shopping that edge in rip-off market stall quality. Put a load of crap together, present in a cheapo frame and charge a hundred quid. Bingo!

"Don't you get the feeling you are being cheated?" - Jonny Rotten

At the end of the day, this type of shite will sell for a number of reasons.

1:Christmas is coming (and the goose is getting fat)
2:It has a well known film accociated with it
3:The kids/grandkids will want - no, love it
4:Two presents in one (DVD & some sort of rubbish gold overlay coin)
5:Its cheep (read CHEEPO!)
6:Johnny Depp's in it
7:It makes a great gift idea (Lucky that, cos christmas is near)
8:Etc,etc,etc...

Personally I wouldn't touch it with a barge poll (mine or yours) let alone give money to have it hanging on a wall in my mansion.

Absolute TAT...
