Catherine was given the poppy some months ago by the Royal British Legion. I'm guessing they'd rather approve.

The Buckley poppy was £15 from the Poppy Shop with ALL monies going to the British Legion - er, how much was qvc charging again ?

The same price. That was the small one, the large one was £24.99. Not like me to stick up for QVC. :wink:

I don't think it matters whether you wear a plain poppy, sparkly poppy, or no poppy at all to be honest. As long as we remember our countrymen and help those survivors who fought for us.

I completely understand your point LIAM but on the other hand the sale of the broaches etc will do so much for the charity that it sort of seems right that someone wears one.
As long as we remember .... That's the important bit.
I do hope that all the people who have bought these buckley poppies dont just dig it out every year to wear it without putting something in the poppy collecting tins in future years as its the donations that are vital rather than the poppy itself ,of course wearing your poppy is a symbol that you remember and care but the money is what the British Legion want in order to do all the good work that they do.
