View Full Version : Mike Mason selling a toaster last night

Anyone else catch it? It was hilarious, in fairness he had the humility to mock himself afterwards having only sold fourteen.

It was 25+costs and consisted of a normal toasted with a drop down hot plate that Mike proceeded to [very badly attempt to] cook some rashers of Bacon on. He actually made Waynes appearances seem like watching Marco Pierre White at work. He kept getting distracted at his director screaming at him
Via his earpiece. The bacon would not brown and when he tried to demonstrate how easy it was to clean it looked like someone had baked a bar of toffee onto a 40 yearold frying pan.

It was an utter disaster.

Testament to how bad it was... when he went back for more of his sandwich, no one had taken any!

It did take forever to cook and even then, it didn't looked cooked - but would anything cook effectively on that small plate with no temperature control.

The assistant he was with was a useless bint too.

Most of the stuff they sell on Bid/Price Drop is stuff that has failed to sell in the shops. With this, you can see why! Not only did it take ages to cook the bacon, the fat was all running over the edge and into the hinged hotplate. They didn't say how you clean this contraption - the flap doesn't come off and you obviously can't clean it properly with washing up liquid and hot water otherwise you'd electrocute yourself. It would take more than a quick scrape and a wipe over with a piece of kitchen towel that Mike did. And then he closed up the flap!!!!!!! Can you imagine what this would smell like next time you went to use it?!! Yuk.

I hope you weren't describing his "Slash Goddess"...
