I've been looking through their ebay page ocean_treetrading and they have started selling broken items now

such examples

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-Of-3-...828?pt=UK_Garden_Lighting&hash=item53f8a67414 States missing parts but doesnt say what is missing

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-Of-3-...329?pt=UK_Garden_Lighting&hash=item589fe2a731 1 doesnt work so why not just sell it as a 2 pk that does

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-Of-3-...788?pt=UK_Garden_Lighting&hash=item56562b6c3c 1 is damaged

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-Piece-...t=UK_Photo_Frames_Display&hash=item53f8a7117d broken glass

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/London-20...=UK_Sports_Memorabilia_ET&hash=item53f8a6d9b1 This 1 made me laugh so basically the item is missing so your just getting the ticket

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yonanas-D...=UK_HGKitchen_SmallApp_RL&hash=item589fdad3dc again it doesn't say what is damaged

I've had a few things off here and been happy with them the latest being some sandals for £6.62 with p&p and multi grill for £13.49 with p&p and a few years back the Peter Simon figurine but I haven't seen them selling broken items before like this

I wonder how much they'd get for Peter Simon's broken act?

Not much.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Your-Kitc...room_Wastebaskets_Bins_PP&hash=item589fe2e68c -oh dear 3/4 of the product is missing
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Whizzy-Mo...omeGarden_CLV_Cleaning_CA&hash=item589fdafc7a - Missing item but which 1 if it was the mop the product would be pretty useless
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gener8-60...743?pt=UK_Vacuum_Cleaners&hash=item56562bc5e7 -I wonder if Peter Simon does these when he comes in early as I can't see where it say what is wrong with the item

I quite like the look of those fibre optics they had on but there seems to have been quite a few sent back faulty - I guess it depends how many thousand they sold though

I assume they're hoping winning bidders won't notice the fault descriptions?

Someone might need new motor handles?

(Always thought that they're a waste of time and money anyway; just use a standard duster head and all the dust will stick to it instead of being sprayed everywhere as it spins...)

The mind truly boggles as to how that could have happened...

Plus of course it's amazing that they're charging £1.99 for postage and packing for their eBay items, which emphasises how much of a ripoff the TV channels really are. The channels are not a cheap way of selling items despite them having no chain of retail outlets, especially as they have to pay millions of pounds each year for their channel slots.

I really can't get my head around this one. Now I can understand people wanting to buy reconditioned items to save some money, especially if it sometimes only means the packaging has been opened, or something of great value with some slight damage to it...but this WTF? Why on God's earth would anyone want to buy a tanzanite ring with a ****** stone missing? The whole things probably not worth a light when it's intact...you can't wear it. I suppose you could blue tack a rolled up sweet wrapper into the gap...On second thoughts it would probably look better than the actual stones. Scratched light fittings, dirty duvets, missing earrings, broken glass - er No thank you! A charity shop would refuse to sell crap like that!!!! They are taking the pI$$, but then I suppose if people are fool enough to buy it?

It says a lot about the average Bid buyer if they like wasting their money on this ****! :wonder:

Before you read this I will point out that they currently have 16,145 positive, 92 neutral and 72 negative feedback in the last month but its interesting how they list things as new and then send out stained goods, refuse to replace a product that was faulty etc
